Your Mission: As a Solution Architect, you will work closely with Asia Pacific (APAC) Go-To-Market (GTM) Leaders, multiple departments and engineering/product teams to build a growing book of service engagements, ensuring automation engagements and initiatives are accurately estimated, optimally solutioned and efficiently delivered within agreed parameters. You will design, own and implement solutions, provide technical ownership and lead diverse teams in delivering multiple projects, often simultaneously. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be discouraged or hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. Not only must you be able to develop technical/enterprise solutions, you must at any time roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done, whether process analysis, solution design, coding/development, implementation review or client training.  

This is what you'll do at UPath

  • Understand the respective market’s competitor landscape and demonstrate value of UiPath Services
  • Partner services GTM and product sales and other external facing teams early in sales lifecycle to promote UiPath’s service offerings to clients and resellers
  • Design service packages and develop materials to solicit new accounts and expand market segments
  • Translate client requirements into a defined scope of work with effort estimation, completion timeline, delivery risk(s) and mitigation strategy
  • Scope, solution and estimate effort, resource and cost requirements and develop comprehensive GTM proposals and RFP responses, including integration and risks
  • Support account mining of existing accounts to expand UiPath’s service footprint and build rapport with client and reseller stakeholders
  • Define skills, identify resources, size up expertise (or lack thereof) and pre-assemble project delivery team early in the selling lifecycle and modifying as sales progress to closure
  • Engineer technical solution and delivery model with services GTM to make ROI business case for client’s economic buyer to purchase UiPath Services
  • Position UiPath offerings as priority in context of client use case(s) and problem statement(s) as well as evaluate third-party products where necessary for to fill solution gaps
  • Conduct process discovery, perform opportunity assessment, develop/review business cases, build automation pipeline and conceptualise workflow diagram into an automated solution.
  • Develop and/or review business requirements documents (BRD), process definition documents (PDD) and solution design documents (SDD)
  • Own and ensure successful delivery of technical solution across all project phases – initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure
  • Design, develop, test, deploy and document automation workflows and create reusable components as part of onsite and remote client engagements
  • Implement and configure programs, scripts and objects that are efficient, well structured, maintainable and easy to understand.
  • Problem-solve issues that arise in day to day running of robotic processes and provide timely responses and solutions as applicable
  • Provide practical and hands-on process and technical training on UiPath products and best practices to internal and external audiences (IT and business) 
  • Work closely with the product team to suggest improvements of core functionalities and adding external technologies to the UiPath ecosystem
  • Learn, enthuse, apply and utilize new exciting technologies – both UiPath full range of products and third-party solutions – and how they integrate with UiPath.

This is what you'll bring to our team

  • Technology graduate with 10+ years of relevant professional experience, primarily in customer-facing roles
  • Proven success in quota-bearing sales support or direct selling of professional services in a consulting company or SaaS vendor, able to partner with sales teams and network within the wider GTM organization
  • Ability to develop and turn around high-quality proposals with accurate estimates and efficient solutions on very short timeframes in collaboration with regional and global teams
  • Solid hands-on background in solution design and implementation of enterprise systems and IT infrastructure, with demonstrable system architecture and customer handling skills
  • Excellent yet humble communicator, listener, presenter, writer and organiser with the ability to both integrate data from multiple diverse sources and/or operate with little/no data points
  • Expertise in application and business process integration approaches as well as RDBMS, NoSQL and open-source DB
  • Experience in implementing UiPath solutions is a must with prior background in Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Kofax, NICE, OpenSpan and/or Celonis is a strong advantage
  • Excellent individual performer and team player with native fluency in English and business proficiency in another local Asian language
  • Strong experience in software delivery using AGILE and WATERFALL methodology on at least 1 full SDLC each
  • Possess UiPath Advanced Developer Certification and/or mandatory to obtain within 3 months of joining
  • Open to work overtime, weekends and public holidays with time-off thereafter and available on short notice as business requires
  • Willingness and able to travel up to 50% (whenever travel resumes).
  • UiPath Certified Professionals ( UCP ) preferred
