Women's History Month: sharing stories of Women at UiPath, part 2

Summarize:
Continuing our celebration of Women’s History Month, we are proud to spotlight three more incredible members of Women at UiPath, our people unity council dedicated to elevating women and allies globally. In this second installment, we’re sharing the stories of Molly, Angelica, and Sarah—three UiPathers whose leadership, resilience, and commitment to community help shape our culture every day.
People Unity Councils (PUCs) at UiPath are employee-led communities that create space for connection, advocacy, and belonging. The Women at UiPath PUC exists to support and elevate women and allies globally, by creating meaningful opportunities for connection, learning, and visibility so that they're empowered to grow confidently and succeed in their career, while also helping shape an inclusive UiPath culture.
Molly Mecham, VP Sales Acceleration, based in U.S.: "It means showing up with confidence and perspective—especially in fast-moving, technical environments like ours. I’m proud to bring both strategic thinking and empathy to the table. It also means helping create space for other women to lead, contribute, and see what’s possible here at UiPath and alongside our customers and partners."
Angelica Svolos, Senior Internal Communications Specialist, based in U.S.: "I don’t reflect on it too often, to be honest. Every day, I focus on showing up as my authentic self by working hard, staying positive, being collaborative, and speaking up when I have something to say. In tech, especially where everything moves fast and change is constant, I think it’s important to stay grounded in your values, build a network that challenges and guides you, and be part of a community that lifts you up. Women at UiPath helps me do exactly that!"

Sarah Abbett, Technical Account Manager - Customer Success, based in U.S.: "Being a woman in this field means a lot because I recognize the responsibility I have as a role model. I want to show other women that they belong here, too and that they can thrive in technical spaces."
Molly: "Early in my career, I fought to be in a client meeting where I was the most junior person in the room. When others struggled to land the message, I stepped in—drawing my preparation, my point of view, and real experience with the work. I listened closely, personalized the answer, and shifted the conversation. That moment solidified something for me: preparation matters, having a POV matters, and trusting yourself enough to step in is often the difference."

Angelica: "There isn’t one single moment I can point to. What has shaped me most is learning that every mistake must become a learning opportunity. Before UiPath, I worked as a BDR intern making warm and cold calls to book meetings with potential clients. I was hung up on, yelled at, and challenged in ways that sometimes completely threw me off. But those calls taught me resilience. I learned to reflect after every conversation, adjust my approach, and never make the same mistake twice. That mindset still carries me today."
Sarah: "A pivotal moment for me was joining my current team at UiPath. From day one, I found them to be open and collaborative. My colleagues are always happy to share their knowledge. They really want to mentor each other, encouraging questions and helping each team member to grow. That culture of mutual support really shaped how confident I feel in my role today."

Molly: "Women at UiPath has created space for honest conversations about ambition, leadership, and navigating challenges. Just as impactful has been strong allyship—leaders who advocate, sponsor, and create visibility."
Angelica: "Being part of Women at UiPath has given me space to explore parts of myself I don’t always get to tap into in my day-to-day role. It’s allowed me to get creative, plan meaningful (and fun!) events and have authentic conversations with colleagues from all over the world. I’ve built relationships across teams, functions, and regions that I may not have otherwise connected with. I’m incredibly grateful for the community, the allyship, and the opportunity to help create spaces where others feel supported too."
Molly: "Speak up. Take the stretch role. Advocate for your work. And build relationships—sponsorship and visibility matter as much as performance."
Angelica: "Volunteer for the opportunities that scare you. They almost always push you to grow. Sit in front of the room. Ask questions when you’re curious. Challenge the status quo. Be adaptable. And be receptive to feedback. The earlier you get comfortable taking risks, being bold (one of our UiPath values!), and not worrying so much about what others think, the more confident you’ll become. It gets easier to speak up, easier to connect with others, and easier to create impact."
Sarah: "Trust in your abilities because you've earned your place. Don't be afraid to let your voice be heard—your perspective matters, and it brings value to the table. Find a community, seek mentors, and never underestimate your impact."

These stories from Molly, Angelica, and Sarah remind us that leadership takes many forms—and that when women lift each other up, we all move forward. Thank you to every woman and ally who continues to shape our culture and make UiPath a place where everyone can thrive. Watch this space for more voices from our people unity councils—and what happens when people show up as themselves.
