This series gives you the opportunity to get to know our leaders at UiPath. They carry many responsibilities, from overseeing projects and mentoring their teams, to hiring the right people and fostering a culture of trust and growth. They guide, empower, and inspire those around them to become the best version of themselves.
In today’s blog post, meet Yaniv Cohen, a lifelong leader, proud father of five daughters and one adopted son, and passionate believer in people’s potential.
I’m 53 years old, born and raised in Israel. I joined UiPath on August 17, 2025, as the new Regional Vice President (RVP) for the Israeli market. I started my career as a sales manager, and worked in business roles, but I’ve always carried a strong technical background with me.
I’ve always found myself in roles where leading came naturally. From a young age, I’ve enjoyed guiding and mentoring people, and giving them the confidence to act on their own. That’s what I love most about leadership, empowering others to realize they can do things independently.
Joining UiPath, my goal is to bring my experience, my values as well as my methodology and principles to everything I do. Being an RVP at UiPath is another peak in my career.
UiPath perfectly represents the strong connection between robots, agents, and people.
We’re all lucky to live in this agentic era and to work in such an exciting world of technology. The new launches that UiPath has done recently, partnering with NVIDIA, OpenAI, and others, show of the strong positioning of UiPath at this time in history.
What’s your leadership philosophy, and how has it evolved over the years?
Two words: determined, yet sensitive. As managers, we need to find our way, be steady, and have our own personality, especially when we work with people. We should have our values and principles and follow them. But I always remember that we’re talking about people.
It’s important to see beyond what’s visible, to understand their struggles and the things they might not say out loud. A good leader pays attention to what people are going through because it affects how they perform. Through experience, I’ve learned that people thrive when they have clarity and direction, but they also need empathy and kindness.
I believe personality is the foundation of any strong team. During interviews of potential candidates, I try to create a comfortable space by starting with a personal conversation, it helps reveal who someone truly is beyond their résumé. For me, the two key qualities are personality and professionalism. Together, they define the kind of people I want to work with.

I’m very impressed with my manager, Mateusz Majewski, Area Vice President, South Eastern Europe. He’s a great example of leadership, humble and professional. What really motivates me is building the team, because when you build something, it’s the greatest feeling. You create something out of almost nothing. It looks like a big salad at first, but we’re making sure it will taste good, with all the right spices. It’s very exciting.

What I hope to achieve at UiPath is building a team that not only delivers results but also feels empowered to transform how work gets done. If I can help my team grow and drive meaningful change in the market, that will be a legacy I’m proud to leave behind.
