UiPath would like that all its Customers draw value from using the UiPath Platform, grow with UiPath and continue building a safe environment for all automation enthusiasts while using UiPath products. There may be situations when UiPath will take actions to ensure that the use of the UiPath Platform is not abused in any way, including by Account inactivity and name squatting. Capitalized terms used below but not defined in this account removal policy (the “Policy”) have the meaning set forth in the applicable licensing agreement for the UiPath Platform. UiPath reserves the right to update this Policy at any time without prior written notice to Customer.
Account inactivity is a cause for Account removal only under a Community Account. UiPath will determine that an Account is inactive if, in the past 90 (ninety) days, no users have signed into the Account and if no automation jobs have been run in the Account. To keep its Community Plan account active, the Customer must log-in or run an automation in the Account.
When creating an account, UiPath relies on Customer’s good faith to not use names of individuals or organizations that Customer is not affiliated with, in a misleading manner. Any such unauthorized use may constitute trademark infringement and UiPath may take action against it. Account names are provided on a first-registered basis and are intended for immediate and active use. Attempts to sell, buy, or solicit other forms of payment in exchange for Account names are prohibited and may result in permanent Account suspension.
If Customer’s account name is clearly distinguished from the trademark owner, UiPath may declare your use of the name as protected under nominative and fair use applicable doctrines.
If Customer believes someone is using their organization’s trademark-protected materials or implies affiliation with its organization, UiPath will assess the situation upon receiving an email at email@example.com with the title “Account Name Review in UiPath Platform”.
Removal of the Account means that any and all data in Customer’s Account, including the Account name will be permanently deleted from UiPath’s cloud storage and cannot be recovered. As a consequence, the Customer will no longer be able to sign-in to its Account.
UiPath may take steps to notify Customer prior to removing the Account due to any reason, but Customer will not hold UiPath liable in case of failure to do so. When available, UiPath recommends that Customer purchases a paid Enterprise Plan for the UiPath Platform to avoid data loss, as a result of Account suspension or removal. UiPath is not liable for any loss of data as a result of applying the Account Removal Policy.
