Maestro is the orchestration layer above agents and robots. AI agents reason, UiPath robots execute system-to-system work, and people handle judgment calls. All of it runs inside the same BPMN process, governed.
Yes. Every workflow, integration, and credential already in your UiPath tenant is callable from a Maestro process. No rebuild. Out-of-the-box connectors cover ERP, HRIS, CRM, and ITSM systems.
Yes. Maestro models follow BPMN 2.0 notation, extended with UiPath-specific tasks (robot tasks, agent tasks, sub-processes). Decision logic is authored in DMN decision tables, versioned alongside the BPMN model.
One engine, two authoring styles. For developers, Maestro Flow is the orchestration experience suited to agentic microflows, API-driven orchestration, and agent + deterministic hybrid workflows, built either on a design canvas or via CLI/coding agents and run on the same durable Maestro engine as BPMN. The choice between Flow and BPMN comes down to the kind of process you’re modeling — lightweight, composable orchestration vs. structured, standardized BPMN processes — not whether you want a “code-first” tool, since both support canvas and CLI authoring.
