Continuing its global expansion, UiPath is building its presence on the Spanish and Portuguese markets by opening a new office in Madrid.
The team of professionals will be led by Franck Lopez, Head of Southern Europe for UiPath. He has already been instrumental in securing some of the region’s leading businesses as clients, in sectors such as Banking and Insurance, Utilities, Retail, Telecommunications and Logistics, amongst others.
The company’s operations in Spain and Portugal, in collaboration with implementation partners, have already made a significant contribution with some of the region’s top ranked businesses as clients, including Orange and EDP - Energias de Portugal amongst many others.
Under the leadership of Franck Lopez, the UiPath Iberia team will help companies to accelerate automaton initiatives across Spain and Portugal.
Previously responsible for the Banking and Financial Services sector across EMEA, Franck Lopez now heads Southern Europe for UiPath. Prior to joining the company, Franck held a number of senior executive roles including VP and Global Head of Applications and Business Services at HP Enterprise for the Financial Services Industry. He also held a five-year tenure at SAP, where he founded the Enterprise Architecture Hub and led it at a global level, headed the Sales Value Engineering team and was Global VP Sales.
On November 8th, in the Hotel VP Plaza España, the team will also host #UiPathTogether Southern Europe, the company’s regional event designed to bring together some of the leading experts in RPA, AI and digital transformation, including Spanish and Portuguese companies and organisations that are leveraging RPA. Some of the region’s leading companies, including Orange, Generali, EDP, Google and La Caixa will share their experiences with automation, and the future of work.
Since January 2018, UiPath has opened new operations in Amsterdam, Austin, Cluj, Dubai, Houston, Mumbai, Munich, Paris, Seoul, Singapore, Washington D.C., and inaugurated its first U.S. product development center in Bellevue, Washington.
