UiPath Trust and Security
To ensure the security of federal, state, and local government data, Australia has implemented the Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP). UiPath is proud to be IRAP certified for Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) infrastructure implementations. The IRAP certification assures agencies that Australian government data is protected against unauthorised access.
The Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) assessment is an independent assessment of the implementation, appropriateness, and effectiveness of a system’s security controls. The IRAP Assessment process uses the security guidance detailed in the Australian Government Attorney Generals Department’s Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM). It certifies experienced security professionals to deliver services that help protect Australian Government systems and data from unauthorised use. By endorsing IT security-qualified professionals, IRAP plays a pivotal role in enhancing the security posture of information and communications technology infrastructure across federal, state, and local government agencies.
The IRAP certification represents the findings of an independent assessor regarding the extent to which UiPath products and systems adhere to government-established policies and guidelines. The UiPath Business Automation Cloud platform (UiPath Automation Cloud™) is proud to be IRAP certified from May 7, 2025 and is classified up to the Protected level according to Australian government standards.
Automation Cloud is available as a service (SaaS) from UiPath. In this shared responsibility model, the government agency is responsible for managing their data, maintaining logical access control processes, and monitoring for compliance with internal policies while using the product. Additionally, the government agency is responsible for exporting and archiving audit logs and data backups from its Automation Cloud tenancy, according to its internally defined policies.

Automation Cloud is a SaaS solution for Australian government customers who want to manage their automations without the overhead of installing and managing an on-premise solution. Automation Cloud allows customers to manage their licenses, add multiple tenants with different products, manage user access for these products, access Orchestrator services to create robots, environments, machines, processes, run jobs, create schedules – allowing customers to perform robot management activities from one centralised, secure location in the cloud.
The UiPath IRAP-assessed Automation Cloud platform can be utilised for:
Digital Transformation Initiatives: Support government digital transformation through automating disparate workflows and business processes
Government Process Automation: Securely automate administrative and operational processes within government agencies
