Agentic automation category

Agentic AI, as developed by UiPath, is an advanced form of artificial intelligence that combines the capabilities of large language models (LLMs), generative AI, and other AI technologies to create autonomous software agents. These agents can perceive their environment, reason about it, and take independent actions to achieve specific goals.

1st place: qBotica – Agent: TasqMaster (Review the use case in detail here) Members of the team:

  • Devi Kandasamy – Lead Developer @ qBotica

  • Chittu Ganesan – Sr. Director @ qBotica

  • Russel Alfeche – Technology Leader @ qBotica

Use case summary:

Meetings on platforms like Zoom and Teams often drag on with repetitive issues like “Can you hear me?” and “You’re on mute!”. To address this, the proposed solution is TasqMaster, an AI-powered agent that listens to meetings, identifies tasks in real-time, and executes them while conversations continue. Leveraging OpenAI’s realtime API for multimodal interactions and integrating UiPath products (Autopilot™, Integration Service, Apps, etc.) for automation, TasqMaster acts like a silent but efficient assistant. Benefits include shorter meetings, increased productivity, and enhanced user experience with real-time task management.

Jury testimonials

I found it very insightful to see how you combined our products and your perspective on designing solutions for problems which either are faced by ourselves. I like the fact that you targeted developers just like we, or how you would like to make the life of business users easier by leveraging AI and automation. – Monica Luca, Senior Product Manager @ UiPath

I think it's been very encouraging to see the practicality of the ability to apply LLMs and the execution capability of UiPath, it was pretty uniform across the groups. Thinking about the coming 12 months, and the ability for us to help expedite the process of creating these agents as well as the more autonomous capabilities that will be in the execution side of it, (…) you showed some ability to make really neat outcomes quickly. – Bobby Patrick, Chief Marketing Officer @ UiPath

It's really great to see you using your imagination of how you put agentic automation into that. And specifically in a time when everything was kind of claimed to be agentic when it is just Gen AI. Some of it can be nicely translated into what you’ll be seeing from us. So you guys are already innovators thinking ahead, thinking fast. Well done. – Boris Krumrey, VP, Automation Innovation @ UiPath

Just wanted to say that I’m very, very impressed with the creativity. You got so much so far and built so much with essentially limited abilities in the platform right now. – Taqi Jaffri, Senior Director, Product Management @ UiPath

It's exciting to see the way that you all are using the platform in conjunction with a lot of other AI tools out there. It's also cool to hear how many of these are, either in production or near production, so it's not just kind of brainstorming, but actual use cases that folks can use. – Joe Edwards, Director Evangelism – Generative AI Experiences @ UiPath
