Release Cycles
UiPath issues Fast Track Support (FTS) and Long Term Support (LTS) versions of the UiPath RPA Platform, which are described as follows:
For each released version UiPath delivers cumulative updates, in accordance with the Support Model as described below.
Support Type | Mainstream Support | Extended Support |
---|---|---|
FTS | 6 months from the release date | 6 months from the end of Mainstream Support |
LTS | 24 months from the release date | 12 months from the end of Mainstream Support |
Mainstream Support consists of maintenance and support and includes responses to, diagnosis and rectification of Incidents and Service Requests as well as provision of applicable Improvements (including development work and quality assurance) as described in UiPath Support Terms. Once the Mainstream Support period ends, UiPath will offer only Extended Support. Customer is required to update the UiPath RPA Platform in order to continue receiving Mainstream Support.
**Fixes that imply database changes will be done exclusively on the latest released version.
Extended Support consists of responses to, diagnosis and rectification of Incidents and Service Request as described in UiPath Support Terms. Improvements (including development work and quality assurance) are no longer delivered during the Extended Support period. Once the Extended Support period ends, support will no longer be provided. Customer is required to update the UiPath RPA Platform in order to continue receiving support.
After the above periods of time elapse (1 year for FTS and 3 years for LTS), UiPath will continue to answer all questions pertaining to the respective versions on a best-effort-only due to consequent product enhancements and potential resolutions added in newer releases. A version upgrade may be required in order to ensure a proper troubleshooting process depending on the nature of the issue reported or question asked.
Once migrated to the latest version, the Customer will receive the applicable support for that version.
End of Support is reflected on the Product Lifecycle page on the UiPath website.
