April Morris

California State University, Fullerton, USA

One of the initial university partners for the UiPath Academic Alliance, teaching to undergrad and graduate students in accounting and tax audit classes. They have already taught UiPath to several hundred students. Curriculum is tied to other leading technologies such as Microsoft Power Query/Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and Blockchain Technologies.

Asher Curtis

University of Washington, USA

Professor Curtis has been teaching RPA to graduate students in the masters of professional accounting program at University of Washington since 2019. He teaches RPA with a practical approach and runs an annual RPA tournament where students present automations to judges from local CPA firms. He has been recognized for his innovation in curriculum winning the “Lex N. Gamble Family Award for Excellence in Case Development & Curriculum Innovation” and the “Charles E. Summer Memorial Teaching Award.”

Bhuvaneswaran B

Rajalakshmi Engineering College, India

Bhuvaneshwaran is a UiPath Certified RPA Associate Professional and has been associated with the UiPath Academic Alliance for more than three years. He has trained over 1000+ learners on UiPath skills at the Rajalakshmi Engineering College and lead the institution’s participation in regional events like the Skillathon. Bhavaneshwaran has additionally delivered multiple classes/programs for government organizations and educational technology companies.

Brian Kei

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong

Brian Kei has taught UiPath at the School of Accounting and Finance at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The knowledge and skills acquired by students have helped them to gain internships and explore various automation career opportunities. These opportunities have occurred at diverse companies such as accounting firms, financial institutions, commodities exchanges, news media, executive research firms, financial technology startups, fund management, and many others. Brian has also been extremely engaged in building a UiPath educator community in Hong Kong. 

Christian Langmann

Munich University of Applied Sciences, Germany

Professor Langmann is a scholar in the field of robotics and UiPath MVPs 2020. He holds a PhD in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Dayton, USA. He teaches RPA in higher education with a focus on accounting and finance across Germany and Switzerland. Since he joined the program, he has trained more than 700 students in Bachelor’s, Masters, and MBA programs, as well as professionals from the area of accounting/finance. Over the past few years, he has written books and articles as well as edited special issues covering the application of RPA in accounting/finance.”

Friedrich Augenstein

DHBW Stuttgart, Germany

Prof. Dr. Friedrich Augenstein is a professor for consulting, corporate management and strategy and organizational development at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Stuttgart. There he is the dean of studies and head of department in the Business Services Management / Consulting & Sales study center. Studied industrial engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), research assistant and doctorate at the Institute for Computer Science at the University of Freiburg, has more than 11 years of professional experience in international consulting companies.

Gaurav Shekhar

University of Texas at Dallas, USA

Gaurav Shekhar is a 2-time TEDx speaker and the Program Director of the largest in-person Graduate Business Analytics Program in the United States. He is also an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Information Systems area and teaches courses like Robotic Process Automation, Business Intelligence and Digital Consulting to both Graduate and Undergraduates. He was named as the 40 Under 40 Data Leaders for the year 2022 by the CDO Magazine, published by the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He was also awarded the Graduate Faculty of the Year award for 2022 by the School of Management, UT Dallas. His main areas of research are IT Project Management, AI/Machine Learning, Natural Language, and Organizational Leadership.

James Littley

Rutgers University, USA

Jim’s Accounting in the Digital Era course at Rutgers is designed for students to develop both functional and hands-on knowledge using several leading software tools to solve practical business challenges. Using a group project case study approach and UiPath’s StudioX software (and related learning assets), students develop their ability to identify opportunities for robotic process automation and to apply an effective process to automate key elements of business processes, related controls and compliance activities, and applicable audit procedures.

Jeannie Pridmore

University of West Georgia, USA

Professor Pridmore has taught RPA since January 2020 to nearly 200 students, mostly from the Management of Information Systems major. The course in which she teaches with RPA includes a mix of theory lectures and hands-on learning. She incorporates business process mapping, introduction to RPA in business, and UiPath with SAP and analytics. Each semester she hosts an RPA competition with an international manufacturing organization. Several students gained employment post-competition.

Julian Koch

South Westphalia University of Applied Sciences, Germany

Dr. Julian Koch is a research associate and responsible for the "Laboratory for Experimental Process and ERP Research" at the University of Applied Sciences Südwestfalen, Hagen, Germany. With over 16 years of professional experience in IT environment, Dr. Koch brings a strong understanding of processes and extensive know-how in the design of integrated business information systems. As a trained computer scientist, studied industrial engineering and holds a doctorate in business informatics, Dr. Koch has always had a special interest in researching the design of lightweight IT.

Kah Heong Tang

Singapore Polytechnic, Singapore

Kah Heong Tang is a UiPath Certified RPA Associate Professional and has been in the UiPath Academic Alliance for more than four years. He has led efforts to empower learners at the School of Business - Singapore Polytechnic and has been instrumental in empowering his co-workers to explore the power of software robots. He has taught multiple courses to audiences ranging from working professionals to students in HR, Accounting, and finance-related programs.

Kris Sujatmoko

Telkom University, Indonesia

Kris Sujatmoko is a 2x UiPath Visionary educator and a certified RPA Associate and Advanced Professional from Indonesia. He has introduced UiPath to 1100+ students, with 250 of them then prepared for the certification exam. This institution is the regional academy for all local Indonesian academic partners, providing educator readiness, programs updates. and support. Additionally, Kris has localized courses for the local academies to break language barriers and acquire UiPath skills. He is closely involved in regional hackathons and community events.

Lim Boon Yang Vincent

Republic Polytechnic, Singapore

Lim Boon Yang Vincent as a UiPath Certified RPA Associate has been an early adopter of UiPath at the Republic Polytechnique, Singapore. He has taught students at the School of Engineering and the Academy for Continuing Education. He created both a final project and internship program for students, where students could both learn and work on implementation projects from industry ranging from finance to HR. Vincent also piloted a UiPath Citizen Developer class and shares best practices with UiPath educators.

Piotr Kozak

Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland

A graduate of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Works as an assistant professor at the Department of Management Accounting of the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Management, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. A lecturer of the subjects related to Robotic Process Automation and chatbots, Business Intelligence tools, controlling and financial analysis. He conducts postgraduate studies in controlling. Founder and supervisor of the Controller’s Club and also the Science Association of Accounting, and other important such committees and organizations.

Richard Win Putra

Bina Nusantara University, Indonesia

Richard has led the adoption of UiPath skills at the School of Information Systems at Bina Nusantara University. He is currently working on a minor for Intelligent Automation, the first program available to students in this region. He is closely engaged with his university to build a pool of certified educators that will positively impact local communities. Richard is a UiPath Certified RPA Associate and Advanced Professional.

Santiago Aguirre

Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Colombia

Santiago Aguirre has been teaching RPA to undergraduate students since 2019 at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He has created immersive business case studies covering process modeling, analysis, redesign, and automation, including UiPath and the integration with BPM and data analytics. Santiago has created a virtual RPA continuing education program that has trained over 120 professionals, who now lead automation programs around Latin America. Santiago collaborates in different industry research projects with one of the most cited RPA articles in the field.

Thandekile Koza

University of Limpopo, South Africa

Lecturer at the School of Accountancy, at the University of Limpopo. As part of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants initiatives, Thandekile Koza and the School of Accounting decided to partner up with UiPath and offer RPA training. The program has been a great success and it is quite monumental because a majority of our students come from rural areas and for them to able to engage with the material and create their own robots is amazing and exciting to witness as an educator.
